Everyone that knows me knows I'm a book whore at heart. I spend just as much time reading as I do writing. This year, so many of my favorite authors released multiple books, so to narrow down my favorites to book was just way too hard. I've done something a little different for 2014. Instead of me giving you my favorite books, I'm giving you my favorite authors. Those writers whose words have inspired me, pushed me through a book funk, yanked me out of writers block and made me want to be a better writer for all of you.
So, without further ado, give it up for my favorite writers of 2014!
Pamela Ann released quite a few books this year, but here are some of my favorites. Ranging from New Adult to Erotica, Pamela's characters always stay in my heart.
Nicole Jacquelyn never ceases to amaze me with the worlds and characters she builds. With every book she writes, I yearn for the next one even more.
Erin Noelle always soothes me with a fantastic New Adult read. I fell in love with her last year and its carried over to 2014 and I know she'll make my list in 2015 as well.
SE Hall and her wit, charm and great writing always pulls me in. Some of her characters are ones I'll never forget and I don't want to.
Last, but certainly not least, is Madeline Sheehan, who takes the cake as my most favorite writer of 2014. Actually, of ever. The worlds she can create makes me want to be better. The time, effort and skill put into each sentence makes me strive to do more. Even though Thicker than Blood doesn't release until January 2015, I was given the extreme privileged of reading it prior to release. It's the best book I've ever read in my life. Not that I love Deuce & the boys or Trinity and the crew any less, TtB is a book in it's own category. From start to finish, I was in love with every word written. Madeline and Claire C. Riley out did themselves.
